Chitta Happens

Chitta Happens is an Ayurvedic clinic in San Francisco that offers health consultations and treatments. The website was coded in pure HTML, that made it hard for the website to update the content. The owner, Renee Rivera, came to us with this primary problem (not being able to edit the text on her own) but she did not want a website redesign. In fact, she was pleased with the current design and did not want to change a thing about it.

Challenge: To convert a pure HTML website into a WordPress platform

It took our team one week to hand code the website from HTML to WordPress. We also added a blog that allows Renee to publish blog entries on her own.

We also discovered that her website was not optimized for search engines so we performed on-site SEO for her at no additional cost, result in dramatic rankings for the following keywords:

“Ayurveda San Francisco” – #1 in Google Places results (local search results)
“meditation clinic San Francisco” – #1 and #2 out of 22,200,000 competing pages in organic search
“meditation San Francisco” – #2 out of 12,700,000 competing pages in organic search
“Ayurvedic clinic San Francisco” – #1 out of 478,000 competing pages in organic search
“Ayurvedic practitioner San Francisco” – #2 out of 568,000 competing pages in organic search
